The RYA is the national organising body for sailing and windsurfing.   It sets standards for training & validates BTYC's status as an authorised training establishment.   It's a useful source of information on qualifications, publications, events, etc.

This is an all-class body representing the interests of windsurfers and organising events.   It runs a programme of competitive meetings throughout the year and all over the country.   It is a non-profit body that works through a committee elected at its AGM.

The existence of Seavets is proof that windsurfing is not just for 20-somethings.   Membership is for men and women over 35 - the oldest is coming up 90 and counting.   It has an active events & racing programme.

They supply all our club GP14s, sails and associated equipment.

It is our local chandlery, on West Hendon Broadway.   Geoff & Rob O'Neill, who run it, sail on the Harp and know local needs well.   They keep a good stock of spares for Harp class boats & are a good source of advice on rigging & repairs.
