BUSA Playoffs

The 2nd team (see photo) finished 2nd at the BUSA Playoffs and will join the firsts in Bristol at the finals (6 - 10 April).

London Duck

The London Duck (March 13th-14th) was won by Wessex Exiles.   The 1st Team finished an unlucky 3rd (2nd university).   Coverage on http://www.Sailgroove.org/videos/coverage

Big M (Manchester)

The 3rd team finished 4th at the Manchester Big M (March 13th-14th)

Oxford Invitational

The 1st team finished 2nd at the Oxford Invitational, January 2010.

Castaways

The Castaways dinner was held on Saturday 16th January.   We had a great turn out with ex-members ranging from those that sailed 40 years ago to some that competed for UoL last year.

Bristol Brew

The 2nd team had an average weekend away at a breezy Bristol Brew in December 2009, eventually finishing tied 1-1 with Southampton 1 for a bizarre 9th place sailoff.

BUSA

Teams for the 2010 BUSA yachting and match racing championships have now been selected.

Oxford Magnum

The 1st team finished as 1st university but were defeated by Royal Thames in the quarter finals of a breezy Oxford Magnum in November 2009.

Liverpool

The 3rd team travelled to Liverpool in November 2009 and despite the wind limiting sailing they notched a number of wins in difficult conditions.
