SAFETY & POWERBOAT TRAININGSafety & Power boat courses are run by BTYC for its Members and Associate Members (only open to members of other Sailing Clubs on the Welsh Harp). Please click to email to show interest in RYA Safety Boat and RYA Powerboat Level 1/2 weekend courses and give preferred dates. Additional courses will be run if there is sufficient demand. Powerboat and Safety Boat courses need a minimum of 4 applicants and a maximum of 6. Members applying for the Safety Boat course must have a RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate AND adequate powerboat experience to safely manoeuvre near people in the water. FIRST AID TRAININGPlease note that First Aid courses are run by BTYC for members of Sailing Clubs on the Welsh Harp only. Please click to email to show interest in the First Aid course. The RYA now require a full First Aid course every 3 years and Refresher courses will no longer be required. |
